The St. Cloud-based spiritual consultant administers to the spiritual needs of groups, businesses and nonprofits in ways not necessarily addressed in the corporate world.
From Saint Cloud Times article. Read here.
As a group, the experience surpassed our expectations. We thought there were many new ideas and concepts to approach our needs with regard to working more effectively.
Very helpful - you presented the subject in a very interesting way. I like the participation of the group and the display of information.
Very interesting speaker - clear.
I enjoyed it very much. He gave some different details on the subject. I rate this as excellent.
It was helpful that you did some soul-searching and self-evaluation.
Lots of good handouts. I enjoyed the stories.
I think it went very well. I took what I remembered to my other group and they really enjoyed it.
I am glad it was videotaped so I can watch the one I missed! Thank You Jim!
I would rate this speaker a 9…I can't give you a 10…that's perfect.
Very helpful…new insights. I would recommend him to others.
Very thought provoking!
Excellent! I thought his presentation came straight from the heart, was sincere and to the point.
You get an A+! The work you did with our team was exactly what you said you would do and they have come to value that. After you left, we carried on the discussion for at least two hours the next day. You really got this group talking and thinking. It is clear to the team that you help us through a process.
Jim assisted the team in developing a mission and a vision. Jim helped us establish a creed and more importantly brought the idea of a creed (what matters to us) to the team and it has become a cornerstone of our division.
Jim played a very key role in getting our team organized and functioning as a collective unit. Team building is a difficult task and one that gets very little attention in the business planning process. Through a team retreat and follow up team meetings which Jim designed, executed and lead, we have successfully gotten to know each other better and operate more efficiently as a team.
Important to me personally, Jim acted an executive mentor. Having a professional like Jim Neppl watching your team and you as an executive manage, then provide input and support to improve our direction has been invaluable. We have spent many hours together in long rides to meetings and trade shows in discussing approaches, business issues, personnel challenges and ways to be more effective. This sounding board and available advisor helped us to establish this business and make me personally a better manager. His integrity, Christian values and business experience/acumen are a rare find in a business mentor.
We utilized Jim's talents and guidance to help establish our new business venture. He organized team-building activities and lead thought-provoking discussions that helped our team better understand each other and work together. Jim also provided insight on many issues. His development of a corporate retreat for our team was well organized and cost-effective. Jim was able to put together an agenda of activities, discussion, exercises and free-time that provided an excellent balance for our team.
Jim - Thanks for taking the time to come to Madison. Your participation certainly gets the team to discuss topics and consider new ideas and approaches that we would not without your intervention. I thought the session was valuable, poignant and you were well prepared.
First and foremost, I would like to express our thanks to you for the contribution you made at our last meeting. As we now have completed the "definition phase" of our team, and have begun to take on an identity - and momentum, it becomes very important that we know not only ourselves better, but also each other as well. It is also important that we earn how to "work in the field together" better. We agreed that it was good to have an outside entity to assist us with the Team and Self-building exercises and that without that person, we probably wouldn't do this important activity.
As a group, the experience surpassed our expectations. We thought there were many new ideas and concepts to approach our needs with regard to working more effectively. One of the resounding topics that kept being revisited - after you had departed, was the discussion on "Delegation". We thought also
that the discussion was a helpful tool in defining our culture - and a method (although not concrete) of evaluating who we are and who we want to
be. As a method of self-exploration and discussion enhancer, the Personal Assessment was also very helpful.
By sharing his own journey though life's difficult experiences, Jim touch many group participants personally and created a safe and caring place for them to share and grow through their own pain and struggles. Jim's leadership skills were evident as he observed the group structure and gently challenged both myself and the group leaders to incorporate needed change to make the program both more effective and more sensitive to participant needs.
In addition to the group facilitation, Jim enthusiastically undertook the development of several presentations. His ability to offer concrete information while at the same time connecting with participants on a deeply human level earned him the highest marks on participant evaluations.
In meeting with Jim on a weekly basis, I have been particularly impressed with his spiritual foundation, but even more impressed with his ability to connect with others at whatever point they are in their spiritual development. He was able to meet with an individual struggling in his beliefs. Jim's empathic listening and support was what was needed for this person to feel the healing power of God's love.
Jim exceeded his goals, objectives and schedule of activities. He could only have done this through demonstrating and outstanding initiative to create opportunities for growth and development. Jim's commitment and support has been outstanding, and this is again demonstrated by his willingness to continue to be involved. Jim truly has been a blessing to us all!
